Legendary mixed martial arts fighter Ham Seo-hee (35) has made up her mind to take the top spot in Asia’s largest organization, ‘ONE Championship’.
On March 25th, on ONE Fight Night 8, Ham Seo-hee will compete against Itsuki Hirata (23, Japan), the winner of season 3 of the reality program ‘Fight Proxy War’, in a women’s atomweight match.
‘ONE Fight Night 8’ will be held at Singapore Indoor Stadium (capacity 12,000). The main card schedule will be adjusted so that the global OTT service ‘Amazon Prime Video’ can be watched live from 8:00 pm on March 24 in New York, USA.
The two were scheduled to face off at ‘One Championship 163’ in November 2022. However, the match with Ham Seo-hee was canceled as Hirata failed to pass the weigh-in.
In an interview posted on her One Championship official website, Seohee Ham said, “I want a showcase. I want to show that I am the strongest among those who are aiming for the One Championship Atom class throne,” she said, revealing what kind of mindset she intends to fight with Hirata.
