By Kim Dong-chan = Jürgen Klinsmann, the head coach of Germany’s national soccer team, will visit a Korean professional soccer K League stadium as soon as he returns from a tour of England.
“Klinsmann will watch the match between Jeonbuk Hyundai and Gangwon FC at Jeonju World Cup Stadium on the 16th, and visit Seoul World Cup Stadium on the 17th to watch FC Seoul and Gwangju FC,” the Korea Football Association said on Friday.
Klinsmann returned home from England on Thursday through Incheon Airport after playing friendly matches against Wales on Aug. 8 and Saudi Arabia on Aug. 13.
Klinsmann was originally scheduled to travel directly from England to Germany to watch the Bayern Munich-Leverkusen match on the 16th, but changed his plans and returned to Korea.
The change in plans is likely in response to criticism that Klinsmann, who took over in February, has spent only 67 days in South Korea during his more than half-year tenure.온라인카지노
“There are matches to observe in Europe and other foreign countries, so I have a schedule to keep coming and going,” Klinsmann said in an interview on his return on Thursday.
Klinsmann’s team will play two friendly matches at home against Tunisia on Oct. 13 and Vietnam on Oct. 17.
