Giuseppe Bruscolotti, once known as Napoli’s iron pillar, has expressed his concern.
According to Italy’s Calcio Napoli 1926 on Nov. 23 (KST), Bruscolotti said, “Napoli will lose their defensive organization without Kim Min-jae. He helped his teammates really well. Napoli will lose a very important player,” he said.
“Despite his young age, Kim already looks like a finished champion. Unfortunately, due to the buyout clause, if an interested club comes along, they will take him. How can we keep players if the chairman has tied them to a contract and another team offers more?” he added.
Brucolotti is a defender who played for Napoli from 1972 to 1988. His 507 career appearances rank second on the club’s all-time list. With Napoli, he won one Italian Serie A title (1986-87) and two Coppa Italia titles (1975-76 and 1986-87).
Brucolotti previously said of Kim, “He is similar to what I was when I was playing. He has tremendous potential and is a very rare player. You have to praise the Napoli scouts for that.”
Kim joined Napoli ahead of this season, making his first appearance in Europe’s top five leagues. There were initial concerns, but he overcame them with his performance. While Napoli won their first Scudetto in 33 years, Kim was named Serie A Secretary General’s Player of the Month in September and Italian Footballers’ Association Player of the Month in October. He was also nominated for the Serie A Team of the Year and is a strong contender for the Best Defender award.
The ‘buyout’ clause in Kim’s contract has attracted mega clubs. From July 1-15, Kim will have a buyout clause worth 50 million euros (approximately KRW 71 billion) that is only available to foreign clubs. This is an opportunity to acquire a top-notch center back at a relatively low price.메이저사이트
Multiple clubs have been rumored to be interested. Manchester United, Paris Saint-Germain, and Newcastle United have been mentioned. Napoli are aware of this and are looking for a replacement. Giorgio Scalvini (Atalanta), Kevin Dansaud (Reims), Danilo Doeke (Union Berlin), and Konstantinos Mavropanos (Stuttgart) are among the names that have been floated.
With Kim Min-jae’s departure from Napoli a foregone conclusion, Brucolotti expressed his disappointment. He has always been a big fan of the player and is worried about Napoli without him.
