Professional volleyball’s V-League precursor, the Dodram Cup, will be held in Gumi this July.
On July 25, the Korea Volleyball Federation signed a business agreement with Gumi City to host a professional volleyball tournament. Under the agreement, the Gumi Dodram Cup Professional Volleyball Tournament will be held from July 29 to August 13 at the Gumi Park Jung-hee Gymnasium.
Sixteen teams will compete in the tournament, including 14 domestic men’s and women’s teams and two invited Japanese teams.메이저사이트
“By hosting the Dodram Cup Professional Volleyball Tournament for the first time in Gyeongsangbuk-do, we expect to quench the thirst of citizens for professional volleyball and provide good attractions and entertainment during summer vacation,” said Kim Hoseop, deputy mayor of Gumi.
Gumi City expects more than 40,000 visitors to visit the stadium during the tournament.
