Ronaldo’s 29.39 billion Al Nasr fails to win league title…. Did they bring him in for nothing?

The effectiveness of his huge salary is not up to par.

Al Nasr’s hopes of winning the league title were dashed when they were held to a 1-1 draw by Al Ittifaq in the 29th round of the Saudi Premier League for the 2022-2023 season at Prince Mohammed bin Fahidi Stadium in Dammam, Saudi Arabia, on Monday.

Al Nasr were denied the league title with one game to spare as leaders Al Ittihad won the same day.

Al Nasr fired a whopping 30 shots (8 on target) on the day, but came up short.

Cristiano Ronaldo also started and formed a two-man frontline with Talisca. However, he once again failed to find the back of the net and had to watch his team fail to win the title.

Ronaldo was released by Manchester United in November last year after giving an interview in which he openly criticized manager Eric ten Hagh and the club.

He pushed to stay in Europe, but it all fell through, and he eventually headed to Saudi Arabia, where he was offered a hefty salary. Al Nasr signed Ronaldo for an astronomical €200 million ($293.9 billion).

However, Ronaldo’s impact has been minimal: He has 14 goals and two assists in 16 games since his Saudi debut in January. It’s not a bad record, but it seems a bit lackluster considering his huge salary.

The non-football noise continued. Ronaldo has been criticized by the Saudi media for throwing away his captain’s armband and holding his hands in vital areas.메이저사이트

In fact, the team’s performance plummeted after Ronaldo’s arrival. First, they lost 0-1 to Mecca in the Saudi Crown quarterfinals, then 1-3 to Jeddah United in the Saudi Super Cup quarterfinals.

Add to that the loss of the league title, and the team had lost all three titles before Ronaldo’s arrival.

Meanwhile, Ronaldo, who has been rumored to be returning to Europe, has been trying to quell public opinion by performing Islamic rituals in recent days, perhaps conscious of the eyes of Saudi fans.
