Varan, the ‘big brother’, stood behind Vinicius, “Take five leagues of action!”

Rafael Varane (29) has come to the defense of former teammate Vinicius Junior (22).

Real Madrid lost 0-1 against Valencia CF in the 35th round of the 2022/23 Spanish Primera Liga at Mestalla in Valencia, Valencia, Valencian Community, Spain on Sept. 22 (KST).

During the match, racial slurs were directed at Real wing forward Vinicius by some fans. Vinicius was reduced to tears by the abuse.

Baran is a former teammate of Vinicius, who played with him at Real before joining Manchester United. The two are still on good terms and Baran has come to his defense.

“Athletes can be the target of racist acts many times. Why does it keep happening? Verbal actions don’t change anything. We need more than words. We need direct action against racism. Lifetime stadium bans (which are currently the norm) are not enough (to address racism and deter racism),” he said.메이저사이트

“More must be done to protect players and safeguard the game,” he said, tagging the English Premier League, Spanish Primera Liga, Italian Serie A, German Bundesliga, French Ligue 1, Federation Internationale de Football Association, and Professional Footballers’ Association. Baran’s call to action is a call to action for these organizations.
