Wang Jung-hoon, challenge to win the Thailand Classic by reversing… Tied for 5th place by 3R 4 strokes

Wang Jeong-hun (28) is aiming for a come-from-behind victory at the Thailand Classic (total prize money of 2 million dollars).

Wang Jeong-hun hit 5 under par 67 with 8 birdies and 3 bogeys in the 3rd round of the DP World Tour Thailand Classic held at the Amata Spiring Country Club (par 72) in Chonburi, Bangkok, Thailand on the 18th (Korean time).

Wang Jeong-hoon, who recorded an interim total of 14 under par and 202 strokes, was tied for 5th place. He is four strokes behind the sole leader, Orsen Torbiern (Denmark).

Overall, the performance wasn’t bad. He had a 71.4% fairway landing percentage, 72.2% green hitting percentage, and an average of 25 putts.

The beginning was good, but the ending was disappointing. Wang Jeong-hoon, who caught the first birdie on the 6th hole (par 4) in the first half, made birdies on 5 consecutive holes from the 8th hole (par 3) to the 12th hole (par 4) in the second half.

Wang Jeong-hoon, who performed a birdie show, made a bogey on the 13th hole (par 3), but continued the flow by catching consecutive birdies on the 14th and 15th holes. But that was it. He committed a bogey on the 16th hole (par 4), and also missed a short par putt on the last hole 18 (par 4) and recorded a bogey.

Wang Jeong-hun is generally lowering his head in the second half finish in this tournament. Even in the first round, he committed three consecutive bogeys on holes 7 through 9 in the second half, and even in the second round, he could not reduce the number of strokes after consecutive birdies on the 10th and 11th holes in the second half. 메이저사이트

Wang Jeong-hoon, who has three wins on the DP World Tour, returned to the DP World Tour this year after completing his military service last year. He competed for the title at the Singapore Classic, which ended last week, and finished in a tie for third place, opening up the possibility of winning again this time.

Orsen cut out 8 birdies without a bogey and recorded a median total of 18 under par 198 strokes, rising to the sole lead, while Nikolai Hoygor (Denmark) and Yannick Paul (Germany) tied for second place with 16 under par 201 strokes.

The final round of the Thailand Classic will be broadcast live on SPOTV Golf & Health on the 19th at 2:30 pm and can also be viewed on OTT service SPOTV NOW.
