Jude Bellingham (20, Real Madrid) has expressed his desire to play alongside Kylian Mbappe (25, PSG), one of the best strikers in the world.
Real Madrid held a signing ceremony for Jude Bellingham at the Santiago Bernabeu in Madrid, Spain, on July 15. On the same day, Spain’s ‘As’ published an interview with Bellingham.
Bellingham, who left Borussia Dortmund for Real Madrid in a €130 million deal, will wear the number 5 shirt that Zinedine Zidane wore at Real.
Speaking at the signing ceremony, Bellingham said: “I’m happy to come to the biggest team in history. Real Madrid is a team that not many people get the chance to play for. I want to thank the people who made it possible for me to play for this team.”
Bellingham is especially excited to join veteran midfielders like Luka Modric and Toni Kroos. “It’s going to be a really valuable experience for my career. Their style of play, their experience, their vision…it’s something I can benefit from,” he said.
“I’ll be following them for the first few weeks. I hope they don’t mind. We have a special team and I’m looking forward to working with them.”
Bellingham was also asked about the future of Kylian Mbappe (25, PSG), who recently reportedly turned down a contract extension with Paris Saint-Germain.스포츠토토
Having previously said “I can’t comment” on Harry Kane’s transfer speculation, he added: “Like I said about Kane, I can’t comment on that. They are amazing players. We’ll see how it goes.”
“I’ve read everything that’s been said on social media, but it’s not true,” Bellingham added.
“Mbappe is a great player and we always want to play with the best players. There’s no doubt that I want to play with Mbappe,” he said, expressing his desire to link up with a top striker.
